Las Vegas – Maybe it was the day before the 311 day, but celebrations were already in full swing Wednesday night in a nightclub Jet at the Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Party official, the 311 got as a hotbed of die-hard fans from all over the country to converge – and they did converge.

Fans packed the line in large numbers even before the doors open at 9 pm Jet allow for the usual slide uniforms at night, allowing fans to show their true colors in 311 t-shirts, hats, and a lot of tattoos. At 11, the line of fans stretching all the way to the entrance of the Mirage. But you did not have to see them to feel their presence – to chants of “311″! Can be heard in all the way to the tables for blackjack.

Within the club, 311 Music was blasting on the speakers – and as the MTV News’ correspondents guest Dave Cousin Lauren and black, and winners of the contest 311 days) was hard at work. The pair was meeting old and new friends from all over the country: ecstatic fans of Lauren home state of Texas to the local Las Vegas couple who booked a hotel room to participate in the activities.

It’s actually with someone like love, because most of the other students in Itawamba Agricultural High School will be allowed to do. The problem, though, is that Constance McMillen is a lesbian, and a petition to the school, so that it can achieve the girl and her date. When the dust settled, the school board decided that the hoopla created by the provincial homophobia is strong and clear was a lot of distraction academic, and canceled a concert.

Cancellation notice was a response from the demands of McMillen and the American Civil Liberties Union to the school board to back down from a ban on same sex dates in concert.

Indeed, the school board? I was really very afraid of “gays” that if exclusion becomes an issue, you’re going to just cancel everything so that no one can enjoy it? A strange way, although I kind of feel that it is worthless if the discriminatory event.

What a terrible thing for them to do for their students and especially for the brave Constance McMillen. Now, not every student in high school and land on the prom, but most will make it their business to be there. For many students, and they were looking forward to this night because they were young, and the instigation of the drama series at the age of adolescence, and that glorify this kind of event coming from between the ages of
