Da Vinci Code
Columbia Pictures is ready to roll the dice on the Da Vinci Code franchise one more time, and officially announced it is moving forward and lost the icon, which is based on author Dan Brown in his book of the same name.
The Da Vinci Code when it first came out, the block was hit everywhere you looked and listened. It is evident that the popularity of migrated when director Ron Howard and Tom Hanks team to adapt to film, and although it is not, and received, the film, which is still $ 758 million at the box office run. Sequel was expected to always be considered in the presence of more books in this series, but for some reason never felt quite right. Angels and Demons was liked even less than the original, and he went to make 486 million dollars – not a bad take, but certainly not up to the level of expectations in the studio.
Despite the lackluster performance of the angels and demons, and the news comes as no real shock. Yes, the original and made a lot of money, but also made a profit of more than $ 300 million. You do not need to be the best business sense in the world to believe that he can make another movie similar figures, even if it ultimately does not fare well.
Hanks whether he would return to the role or not known with certainty, but it is expected that. Howard and Brian Grazer of Imagine Entertainment will produce the movie, which means that the new director is more likely. Stephen Knight (Eastern Promises, the dirty little things) has been hired to write the script.
Lost code us back to the brilliant Robert Langdon, this time focusing on Freemasonry. Langdon invited to Washington, DC, for those who mentor – Head of the Smithsonian Institution – to give a speech, but when I get there only to discover his mentor by the idea, he soon realized he would need the skills of decoding is to save his friend.
Novel published in 2009 and was the latest Robert Langdon adventure penned by Brown. Angels and Demons was actually the first book in this series, published in 2000, but Howard felt that it would work better as a sequel to 2003’s superiority in the Da Vinci Code.
I’ve only watched the first movie, but I did not enjoy it, and we hope to read books, and check out these other films in the end. As I’ve recently been how to identify Mr. da Vinci, and he seemed like a man very well, it is hard to not go through this crazy stuff (Assassin’s Creed II, anyone? Anyone?).
